About Marsha
Marsha Richardson began her real estate career on the California Central Coast in 1977 as co-owner of a thriving multi-office Century 21 firm in Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, and Shell Beach. Always interested in the legal aspects of the real estate, she served the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors as President, MLS Chairman, Education and Professional Standards committees chairman, and C.A.R. state director for many years, as well as an inter-board arbitrator for C.A.R. She has been an instructor for more than 35 years, helping agents understand contracts and real estate law. From 1977 through 2005 she was a practicing real estate broker. In January, 2006, she accepted the position of compliance manager and trainer for Century 21 C. Watson in Fresno, California. She concurrently held a South Dakota Broker License from 1996 to 2006. Retiring from her management position, Marsha Richardson began 2024 as a broker associate, enthusiastically practicing real estate again in Clovis, California for Modern Broker, powered by Real Brokerage Technologies. She is passionate about private property rights and the part real estate professionals play in promoting and protecting the “American Dream.”
As a real estate professional, when working with buyers and sellers, she brings these important elements to the process of buying and selling real property:
• Listening, hearing the needs and anticipated goals of her clients, making sure she understands all aspects of each individual’s situation relative to their goals.
• A policy of consistent and frequent communication by phone, text, email, or, her favorite, in person, face to face.
• An understanding of real estate law built upon years of study, training and professional practice (experience). She is proficient in the meaning of contracts and disclosures with the ability to paraphrase succinctly the intent, meaning, and consequences within the scope of being a real estate broker…she is not an attorney.
• Understanding that a home means so much more than a place to hang a hat…it’s a place to grow wealth, enjoy security, safety, and peace of mind … and a place to make memories, a place to cherish and love. Every person deserves to live the American Dream, to own real property with the benefits of not only enjoying it at will, but selling it at will and passing it on to heirs, to grow into investing in property beyond a primary residence with the potential rewards of an income stream, tax benefits, and appreciation, using leverage to increase personal financial standing.
• Negotiating skills to benefit her client, while making all parties feel they are winners in a transaction. Everyone needs to feel a sense of satisfaction greater than expected at the close of escrow.
• Very high ethical, legal, and business standards. She is a consummate professional with an unpretentious and friendly manner.
